History
DCS Technologies was founded in 1979 in Dayton, Ohio with a mission to provide customized software solutions for
small business professionals. While continuing to evolve, it eventually developed into the business of building
computer "boxes" to run customized software applications. Interestingly, this concept was all implemented prior
to IBM's introduction of the "PC" concept.
By 1985, market developments created the demand for a supply source of microcomputers and printers. DCS responded by building what would eventually become a national business-providing printer ribbons, diskettes, and other consumable supplies. In 1992, this growth facilitated the inception of our current laser printer service and support group, and the subsequent creation of an authorized printer technician service team. ![]() In 1994 and 1998, DCS acquired two companies to expand on the complete business solutions computer market. These new offerings included consulting services, network system design, system construction, and on-going system integration management and support. Today, DCS is a technology services company focusing on document and printer management solutions. With market coverage now including the greater Cincinnati, Dayton, Springfield, and Columbus, Ohio areas; we continue to build a business of service-based product solutions, on the foundation of an efficient, customer-focused organization.
Mission Statement
The DCS mission is to provide our customers the outsource capability of customized solutions to manage company
documents, and supporting these programs with an efficient, customer-focused organization.
City Ministries of Cincinnati
DCS has supported City Ministries of Cincinnati since 2003. This urban program has two divisions: City Gospel
Mission for adults and City Cure for youth, both ascribing to the same goal of "Breaking the Cycle of Urban
Despair". Since 1968, CityCURE has worked with urban youth and families in need. CityCURE helps give children
the education, self-esteem, and positive values they need to succeed in life. DCS is an annual attendee and a
sponsor for the City Cure banquet, and also provides a platform for CityCURE to share their programs with all
DCS employees at our office on an annual basis. CityCURE is a tremendous outreach program and DCS is pleased
and honored to support their efforts.
